“Reef Safe” species are those generally considered suitable for coral tanks, meaning they won’t routinely nip at or damage corals or most invertebrates. The fish and inverts in this collection are chosen for their good behaviour in mixed reefs, making them ideal companions for LPS, SPS and soft corals when kept in the right conditions. As with any livestock, individual behaviour can vary, so it’s still important to research each species, match them with appropriate tank mates and ensure they’re well-fed to minimise any chance of unwanted nipping.
