The Tortoise Banquet Block is designed to offer your tortoises and Box turtles supplemental calcium while helping to maintain the beak and offer enrichment. Opuntia cactus, vegetables and alfalfa make this a great way to offer diversity to your tortoise’s diet. Great source of calcium, Spineless Cactus, and other vegetables. Provides enrichment as your tortoises chew the block to get the food inside. Helps to prevent overgrowth of your tortoises’ beak. Additional Information: Zoo Med’s Tortoise Banquet Calcium Block is designed to provide supplemental calcium to your tortoise’s diet while also helping to prevent your tortoise’s beak from becoming overgrown. This formula includes a mixture of nutritious vegetables including Spineless Opuntia Cactus, Carrots, and Alfalfa in a solid Calcium base. The block provides enrichment to tortoises as they bite the block to get to the food inside. Directions Place block on the floor of the habitat and allow tortoises to bite and scrape the calcium block. The block will provide beneficial Calcium, vitamins, and vegetables, including Spineless Opuntia Cactus which is a natural part of the diet of many tortoises. Replace the block after it has been completely consumed, or if the block becomes wet or soiled.
