Description
The colouration of Purple Queen Anthias (Pseudanthias tuka) differs between the sexes. Although both are deep purple in colour, females have a bright yellow band on the dorsum that extends to the caudal fin. Males have a purple spot at the base of the dorsal fin and more elongated fins. It is a fish with amazing colours that will give life to any aquarium. Extremely peaceful, reef safe and should be fed with frozen food such as mysis and red plankton.
Not the easiest species but very rewarding if successful.
Males and females available.
