Monitoring of the temperatures within an enclosure is essential in providing any reptile or amphibian species with the correct environment. This Infrared Digital Thermometer Temp Gun allows quick and easy temperature checking, simply point the red laser at the desired location and the digital screen will show the current temperature of the spot chosen. Temp guns are an incredibly useful tool for keepers with multiple enclosures as you can quickly check each one without the need for a thermometer per enclosure.
For the vast majority of species it is important to have varying temperatures throughout the enclosure so it is worth checking multiple areas, especially under the heat lamp, or other heat source. The thermostat can then be adjusted to account for any errors or discrepancies.
