Matsue Grow & Show 2026

How It Works

Purchase a designated Matsue Grow & Show koi and compete against hobbyists from across the UK to see who can achieve the greatest growth throughout the competition period.

Each koi entered represents one competition entry.

Entry Details

• £60 per Matsue Grow & Show koi

• One koi = One entry

• Unlimited entries per person

• Open to all experience levels

• Competition runs throughout the 2026 growing season

• Purchase between 1st June - 12th July

• Koi must be collected or delivered by the 12th July.

The Livestock Credit Draw

At the conclusion of the competition, 50% of all entries will receive their full £60 entry fee back as Koi Livestock Credit.

Examples:

• 100 entries = 50 winners receive £60 livestock credit

• 200 entries = 100 winners receive £60 livestock credit

• 300 entries = 150 winners receive £60 livestock credit

Winning entries will be selected at random following completion of the competition.

Koi livestock credit will be valid for 6 months from the date of issue. (We will draw the winners after the 31st July) (None transferable)

Championship Prizes

Matsue Growth Champion 2026

Awarded to the koi achieving the greatest verified growth during the competition.

Prize:

• £500 Koi Livestock Credit

• Matsue Growth Champion 2026 Title

Matsue Judges' Choice Champion 2026

Awarded to the standout koi selected by the judging panel based on overall development, body shape, quality and presentation.

Prize:

• £250 Koi Livestock Credit

• Matsue Judges' Choice Champion 2026 Title

Competition Rules

1. All entries must be registered through our dedicated WhatsApp group, stating your Order number/s, & Size/s. By joining the dedicated group you will be part of the VIP community where you can share updates, check out the competition, first look at new koi through the season and much more!

2. A starting length photograph and measurement must be submitted no later than 12th July 23:59 within the above specified group (Entries elsewhere will not be accepted)

3. Final photographs and measurements must be submitted before the competition closing date of the 31st October 23:59. (As above)

4. Measurements must follow our published measurement guidelines. (We will provide guides and more within the dedicated WhatsApp group)

5. We reserve the right to request additional photographs or evidence to verify measurements.

6. Any entry found to have supplied inaccurate information may be disqualified.

7. The judges' decision is final.
