Lucky Reptile Desert Bedding 20l is a soil mixture developed specially for desert and savannah type terrariums. In nature few animals live on sand with most species actually avoiding pure sandy areas. Desert Bedding is specially blended to recreate the soil in arid regions and has a high clay content which allows the animals to dig burrows. In the lower regions of the substrate the humidity can be kept higher which is important since a lot of desert reptiles, like Uromastyx can take up humidity through their skin. Desert Bedding is now available in 7L and 20L bags and in 4 different colours: Natural, Outback Red, Golden Yellow and Snow White.
