Aspinochilus rufus, also known as the Peach Earth Tiger or Javan Tree Tiger, is an arboreal, Old World tarantula endemic to the highland forests of Java, Indonesia.
It is characterized by its striking reddish-brown coloration, with each leg displaying a halo of vivid, feathery red setae.
This species is known for its speed, defensive nature, and potent venom, making it suitable for experienced keepers. While primarily arboreal, it may also burrow, and it requires high humidity and warm temperatures.
