- Enclosure: A 10-20 gallon terrarium is suitable for a single adult, emphasising floor space over height due to their terrestrial nature.
- Substrate: Use a moist substrate like coconut fiber or sphagnum moss to maintain humidity, keeping it damp but not overly wet to support the frog's hydration and skin health.
- Humidity & Temperature: Maintain humidity levels between 60-80% and a temperature gradient from 75-85°F (24-29°C) during the day, with a slight drop at night. Regular monitoring with a hygrometer and thermometer is essential.
Diet and Water
- Diet: These frogs are carnivorous, feeding on a variety of insects such as crickets, mealworms, and occasionally small pinkie mice for adults. Ensure food items are dusted with calcium and vitamin supplements to prevent nutritional deficiencies.
