Description
The Pomacanthus xanthometopon, commonly known as the Blueface Angelfish or Yellowface Angelfish, is a stunning marine angelfish found in the shallow waters of the Indo-Pacific region. Renowned for its remarkable facial colouration, this species thrives in reef environments, typically at depths of 5 to 25 meters. It requires a spacious environment, with a recommended minimum tank size of 220 gallons, offering ample space and live rock for grazing. This species, originating from locales like Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and the Coral Sea, can grow up to 15 inches, making it a substantial and majestic presence in any suitable aquatic setting.
