The Burtons 1100 Flat Bottom Bio Chamber is a specialised bio tank designed for use in pond filtration systems. This unit has a capacity to hold up to 200l of fluidised media. For optimal performance, it's recommended to use a 50/50 mix of Bio Flo and Bio Tube media, available in 25l and 50l bags. The bio tank is suitable for a maximum flow rate of 20,000l per hour, with a recommended flow rate between 10,000l to 12,000l per hour.
Key features of the 1100 Bio Tank include two fixing points for airstones, though it's important to note that the airstones are not included with the unit. The bio chamber also comes complete with a lid for convenient access and maintenance.
