Description
The Spiny Finned Basslet (Belonepterygion fasciolatum) is a small, visually appealing marine fish native to the Indo-Pacific region. It grows to a maximum size of approximately 2.4in and is known for its peaceful nature, making it a suitable choice for community aquariums. This species thrives in an environment with plenty of live rock for hiding and grazing. It's an omnivore that readily accepts a varied diet of high-quality frozen or live foods, including small crustaceans, worms, and plankton. The Spiny Finned Basslet is a shy fish, often hiding in rocks or crevices, and is best kept in schools of at least six individuals.
