Description
The Pineapple Swordtail is a livebearer which is hardy to both other tank mates and water parameters. Due to selective breading, they are now available in a number of varieties of differing and stunning colours and shapes. The males are easily determined due to their signature Sword along the base of the caudal fin (tail).

In confined spaces groups of males tend to form dominance hierarchies and may invest a significant proportion of time maintaining their respective positions.
