They prefer moderate to high light and moderate to strong, fairly random flow, and do best in mature systems with stable alkalinity, calcium and magnesium plus low–moderate nutrients. While not as “showy” as some SPS, they’re generally forgiving once settled and can be a good, durable choice for adding long-term structure.
