The Starki Damsel (Chrysiptera starcki) is a stunning addition to any marine aquarium. With its vibrant colors and unique personality, this damselfish is sure to capture everyone's attention.
Native to the western Pacific Ocean, the Starkii Damsel can be found in various locations, including the Ryukyu Islands, Taiwan, Australia, New Caledonia, and Tonga. It thrives in reef environments where it can find zooplankton and algae to feed on.
One of the standout traits of the Starkii Damsel is its aggression towards its own kind. It is recommended to have only one Starkii Damsel per aquarium unless the tank is exceptionally large. This damselfish, however, usually coexists peacefully with other reef-safe fish, such as tangs, angelfish, wrasses, and even clownfish.
